Spray masks Douglas C-47A Skytrain 1:72 – New Ware (Basic)

A set of precisely die-cut kabuki masks from the New Ware brand for building a model of the Douglas C-47A Skytrain transport aircraft in 1:72 scale. Kabuki is a thin self-adhesive tape of Japanese washi paper that follows the shape of the glazing frames perfectly, adheres without bubbles and leaves no adhesive behind once peeled off. The result is perfectly sharp spray edges with no paint creeping under the mask. The Basic edition covers the outer frames of the cockpit and the windows and the wheel discs.

Use

• Stick the individual masks on with tweezers exactly onto the glazing frames and the windows.
• Mask the wheels, spray the hubs and take the mask off once the paint has become tacky.
• Spray in thin coats, so that the paint does not creep under the edge of the mask.
• Peel the masks off soon after spraying, while the paint is still flexible.

For modelers who want clean cockpit frames without lengthy hand masking with tape. The Basic edition is intended for quick and reliable masking of the outside of the glazing and the wheels.

The set contains spray masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
