Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the tracked C7P artillery tractor in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer Mirage Hobby. The package holds plastic frames, photo-etched parts, a decal sheet and building instructions. This boxing is devoted to the machines that served in Soviet hands after 1939. The model is built as a classic injection-molded kit and is a good addition to models of artillery in the same scale.
The C7P was a Polish heavy tracked tractor of the 1930s, derived in design from the chassis of the 7TP light tank. In place of the turret and the fighting compartment it carried an open or canvas-covered cab for the crew, a load bed and a winch. It served to tow heavy guns and mortars and to recover equipment, that is tasks that ordinary wheeled tractors could not handle. Only a limited number of the vehicles was built, and after 1939 some of the surviving machines passed into the hands of other armies.
Assemble and paint the running gear derived from a tank chassis before you fit the superstructure, as the individual wheels are hard to reach later. Bend the small photo-etched parts over a metal ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The open cab and the load bed leave room for adding cargo, crates or ropes. Spray the base over a primer, pick the edges out with dry brushing and use brown washes and dust pigments on the underside of the hull and the tracks, as the tractor was typically a muddy working machine.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
