The set from the Czech manufacturer AML contains a vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear canopy and painting masks to go with it for models of the French Dassault Mirage III C fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces the canopy from the kit with a thinner and clearer part and makes masking the frames for spraying easier.
Cut the vacuform canopy out with a margin and sand it down to the outline on fine abrasive paper. It is glued with clear canopy glue or with thin cyanoacrylate so that it does not fog. Stick the masks on before spraying; thanks to them you get crisp transitions between the frame and the glazing. The thin vacuform part also lets you model an open cockpit.
