A small scale makes higher demands on masking than a large one: the canopy frames are as thin as a hair and when cutting tape by hand the width of the line cannot be held. The sheet in this package carries pieces for the glazing, the wheels and the light covers, and all of them have the correct width from the factory.
It is an upgrade of the frontline fighter in which the dorsal spine was enlarged and the range of tasks widened. The pilot was given new displays, the aircraft the ability to refuel in flight and to carry guided weapons against ground targets. Its recognition features remain the pair of large leading-edge extensions and the high-set cockpit with a good view.
Without tweezers you will not manage here. Choose ones with straight tips without grooves, so that they do not crumple a piece. Lift the piece by the edge, lay it on and only then press it down with a soft eraser. Mask the light covers only after the exterior finish is complete and cover the rest of the area around them with a piece of tape. Apply the paint in several light layers; a heavy layer will create a ridge at the edge.
Fill the remaining open areas around the canopy with a strip of tape, so that the mist does not reach the instrument panel. Neither the kit itself nor paints are in the package.
