Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Canadian Chevrolet C15A truck in the No.11 Cab configuration with an all-steel General Service type body, in 1:72 scale from the Polish maker IBG Models. The model is made up of finely shaped parts, clear glazing parts and a decal sheet, and it is supplied as a set of parts to be glued and painted. IBG is among the leading makers of Second World War vehicles in this scale.
The Chevrolet C15A was part of the family of Canadian standardized pattern (CMP) vehicles, which Canada produced in large numbers during the Second World War. It was a light truck with all-wheel drive and a characteristic short hood with the cab moved over the engine. CMP trucks served across the Allied armies, in North Africa, Italy and Western Europe, to carry cargo and men and to tow light guns. The No.11 Cab configuration represents the later type of cab with a better view out.
Assemble and clean up the chassis, the axles and the frame first; finish and paint the cab with its interior before you close it in with the body, as it is hard to reach inside later. Spray the bodywork over a primer in a shade of British or Canadian olive. Build the weathering with a dark wash into the panel lines and pigments for mud and dust effects around the chassis and the fenders; dirty the wheels more heavily than the upper surfaces of the vehicle.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
