Exhausts for the Defiant Mk.I, rounded ends, 1:72 (Quickboost) is a resin aircraft accessory in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. It is not an airplane model, but a detail part. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin exhaust stacks with rounded outlet ends for the British Boulton Paul Defiant Mk.I turret fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part with drilled outlets that replaces the flat or blanked-off plastic exhausts from the base kit, not an airplane model.
The Boulton Paul Defiant was a British two-seat fighter of the Second World War with its main armament concentrated in a powered dorsal gun turret. It was powered by a V12 Rolls-Royce Merlin engine whose exhaust stacks emerged along the sides of the nose. The Defiant proved itself above all as a night fighter. The rounded ends correspond to one of the exhaust forms used.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them free of mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways when sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. The exhausts come out once painted in dark metal and rusty shades; check the alignment of the stacks dry before gluing.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
