The Eduard 1:72 Do 335A Pfeil is a photo-etch detail set, not a model. It adds to a plastic kit of the Do 335A Pfeil the fine metal detail that injection-molded plastic cannot manage.

This product is not a kit but a photo-etch detail set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It contains fine etched parts that sharpen and enliven a plastic Do 335A Pfeil model — they complete and replace the detail that injection-molded plastic cannot render faithfully.
The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil (Arrow) was a German heavy fighter from the end of the Second World War with an unusual layout of two engines in tandem — one driving a tractor propeller in the nose and the other a pusher propeller at the rear of the fuselage. That arrangement gave it exceptional speed while keeping good handling and places it among the fastest piston fighters of its time. It was built only in small numbers and had an ejection seat as well.
The etched parts are meant for advanced modelers. The individual pieces are separated from the fret with a sharp knife, bent in a bending tool or over a sharp edge and joined with super glue (cyanoacrylate); larger surfaces can also be soldered. Degrease the parts before gluing so that they hold well. You unify the assembly with a coat of primer, followed by the airbrush and a light wash to bring the detail out. The set is an accessory to a plastic Do 335A Pfeil kit in 1:72 scale, which has to be obtained separately.
