This photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard serves for the detailed sharpening up of a plastic model of the American Grumman EA-6B Prowler electronic warfare aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is not a model or a kit, but an accessory that adds fine metal elements to the cockpit, to the instrument panels, the ejection seats and other areas where the plastic parts offer only limited detail.
The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was an American carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft derived from the A-6 Intruder attack machine. It served to jam enemy radars and communications, and for decades it was one of the key support assets of the US Navy strike groups.
Separate the small photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends with tweezers or a bending tool. Use super glue (cyanoacrylate) to bond metal to plastic. Degrease the cockpit parts before installation, spray on a primer and paint afterwards.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
