The Elefant (Sd.Kfz. 184) was a heavy tank destroyer based on a chassis designed by Ferdinand Porsche. It carried a long 8.8 cm gun with exceptional range and penetration. The original vehicles of 1943 bore the name Ferdinand and after modification were renamed Elefant. In 1944 some of these vehicles were deployed in Italy, where their great firepower came in useful.
The model suits a collector display case and a shelf. Protect it from dust and direct sunlight. For an effective presentation you can use a diorama base with other 1:72 vehicles.
The model is finished, assembled and painted at the factory; it is not meant for building or gluing.
