A 3D-printed resin set of naval searchlights 36 inches in diameter in 1:350 scale by Eduard. It is a universal accessory for completing models of American naval vessels, not a ship model.
The large 36-inch searchlights served on the decks of American warships for night signaling and illumination. Direct 3D printing captures the fine ribbing of the lens and the body of the searchlight more crisply than injection-molded plastic or photo-etch can, and so replaces the less faithful parts from a kit.
Separate the small parts carefully from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Work with tweezers, protect your airways when sanding and apply a primer before painting.
