This resin detail set in 1:72 scale from Aires replaces the exhaust nozzles of a plastic kit with more accurate resin parts carrying well-worked structure inside and out. Once painted they raise the realism of the rear of the model markedly. This is not an airplane model in its own right but an accessory for an existing kit.

Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. It is worth painting the inside of the nozzles in shades of scorched metal and bringing out the sooting with a wash. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
