F-35A masks 1:72 (Eduard)

A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks from the Czech maker Eduard makes painting a Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II model in 1:72 scale easier. The masks are cut from yellow kabuki tape (Japanese masking tape), which follows shapes well and leaves no adhesive residue. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a clean paint job on the cockpit frames and other areas.

Use

• Masks for the frames of the cockpit glazing
• Usually masks for the wheels as well, for a clean separation of hub and tire
• Accurate edges with no paint creeping under the mask

How to use the masks

Transfer the mask to a clean surface with tweezers, press it down at the edges and spray over it with paint. Once dry, lift the mask carefully. An airbrush is ideal for a thin coat of paint.
