A resin detail set, not an aircraft kit. This set in finely cast resin makes it possible to show the folded wingtips of the American Grumman F9F Panther carrier jet fighter in 1:72 scale. It contains finely rendered interiors of the joints, which are treated in a simplified way straight from the box. The set is intended for more advanced modelers with resin experience.
Folding wings were usual on carrier aircraft to save space on the deck of an aircraft carrier. A model with folded tips looks authentic and the exposed interiors of the joints show careful work. The casting captures a fine structure and details of the mechanism that are hard to create in plastic.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
