A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. Finely cast in resin, the set replaces the air intakes of the American carrier-based multi-role F/A-18A/C Hornet in 1:72 scale. The castings have open, correctly shaped mouths and the depth that the simplified plastic parts from the box often blank off or flatten.
The air intakes of the jet-powered Hornet are a prominent feature along the sides of the fuselage, and their depth and the cleanness of the mouth strongly influence the overall impression. The resin castings offer open ducts and fine edges, so that the intakes look faithful and technical. Once painted and fitted with covers where wanted, the forward fuselage takes on a realistic appearance.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
