A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale for the Italian Fiat CR.32 fighter biplane. It offers nine complete markings, from the demonstration machine of the 154a Squadriglia through aircraft committed on the Iberian Peninsula to an example tested in the Soviet Union.

The Fiat CR.32 came out of the line of fighter biplanes that the designer Celestino Rosatelli developed in Turin, and it first took to the air in 1933. The strut arrangement between the lifting surfaces, fixed landing gear and the Fiat A.30 V12 engine gave it an agility that the monoplanes of the day matched only with difficulty. Around twelve hundred were built and for several years it was the most numerous Italian fighter type.
The markings offered include the demonstration aircraft of the 154a Squadriglia of 4° Stormo with the nickname Diavoli Rossi, meaning Red Devils, from 1936, an example operating over Abyssinia in 1940 and 1941, several Spanish machines of Grupo XXIII and of a unit in the Balearic Islands, an aircraft evaluated by a Soviet Air Force institute in 1937, a machine of I./JG 138 from Vienna-Aspern in September 1938 and one of the sixteen examples ordered by China in 1933. The fasces on the fuselage and the arms of the House of Savoy on the rudder are included, the standard elements of Italian military aircraft of that time.
The motifs are printed on a continuous carrier film, so each of them has to be cut out as close to the artwork as possible before soaking. Prepare the base with a gloss varnish, seat the decal with tweezers and blot the excess water away with a piece of paper towel. On riveted and uneven places a decal softener helps. The plastic model of the airplane is obtained separately; here you get the printed sheet and the list of finishes only.
