Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of wet decals from the DK Decals brand in 1:72 scale relating to No. 312 (Czechoslovak) Squadron RAF, that is, to the Czechoslovak fighter squadron of the Royal Air Force. The unit was formed in 1940 from Czechoslovak airmen who reached Britain after the fall of France. The name of the sheet refers to the first combat success of the squadron, achieved shortly after it was declared operational. The name does not identify the particular machines and color schemes, so check them on the box.
In 1:72 scale the motifs are small and the carrier film is therefore more visible than in larger scales. The basis is a smooth glossy surface: paint the model, varnish it over with a gloss coat and let it cure for a day. Cut the decal out close to the print, soak it for a few seconds and let it rest on the paper until it can be moved. Transfer it onto the model with a drop of water, position it with a soft brush and blot the water away with a tissue. Settle small motifs over engraved lines and the sides of the fuselage with a softener; for tiny national insignia the milder one is usually enough. Even the dried model out with a flat varnish, which reliably hides the edges of the film.
This is a sheet of decals, not a kit. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
