A plastic kit of the late version of the German fighter Focke-Wulf Fw-190D-15 in 1:72 scale from IBG. The model captures the machine in the torpedo-carrier configuration, and in the box you will find photo-etched parts, a clear part, an underslung torpedo and drop tanks together with decal sheets.
The Fw-190D series, nicknamed Dora, was the peak of Focke-Wulf fighter development. The switch to a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine, with its characteristically lengthened nose and tail, brought better performance at higher altitudes. The D-15 version belonged to the very last branches of development at the end of the war; the configuration with a torpedo represents a very late and borderline chapter in the story of the series.
Degrease the parts before painting, apply a primer and spray the shades with an airbrush. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. We recommend masking and painting the clear canopy separately. Apply the many technical stencils onto a gloss coat so that no silvering appears around the edges; a final matte coat will even out the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
