Eduard 1:72 Fw 190A-8 is a photo-etched detail set for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 fighter. It is not a model but an accessory that refines both the cockpit and the exterior.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a kit. Made from thin metal, it is meant to improve models of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 fighter in 1:72 scale and adds fine parts that cannot be injection-molded in plastic. It is made by the Czech firm Eduard, a leading name in photo-etched parts.
The photo-etched parts sharpen up the cockpit above all - the instrument panel, the sidewalls, the levers and the seat harness - and add small exterior elements such as panels, grilles and other details of the skin. In the color version the key parts are pre-printed, so the panel and the belts look realistic without hand painting.
Cut the parts from the fret with a sharp knife and use a photo-etch bending tool for the bends. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with glue for photo-etched parts. Degrease the bare metal parts and spray them with primer before painting.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
