A modeling paint from the Hataka Orange Line range in a saturated blue shade that matches the number FS 25183.
Responsibility details are not available.
A saturated blue shade carried under the number FS 25183. The five-digit number of the federal standard FS 595 defines the tone unambiguously, so it can be looked up years later regardless of how a given brand names the shade. The first digit describes the degree of gloss, and a two in that place means a semigloss finish; the second digit places the shade in the group of blue tones. The item belongs to the Orange Line range from Hataka.
Hataka carries several paint ranges side by side that differ from one another, so the thinner is chosen according to the particular range. Use the thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio stated by the manufacturer on the packaging; a foreign thinner can curdle the paint into flakes. Stir the contents thoroughly before use, during storage the pigment settles at the bottom and understirred paint has a different tone and different coverage. Apply in several thin coats instead of one heavy one, otherwise the fine engraving and riveting will be clogged.
Saturated blue tones cover worse than grays and greens, so they hold more evenly over a base coat than on bare plastic. Under a semigloss surface every unevenness shows clearly as well, so finish joints and sanded areas before spraying. Let the paint flash off between coats and let the finished coat dry through properly; only then come the decals and the final clear coat.
Thinner, clear coat, brushes and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
