Responsibility details are not available.
A limited edition from the Polish manufacturer IBG Models captures the prototype version of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 fighter in 1:72 scale. The package combines injection-molded plastic with photo-etched and additional 3D printed parts that make it possible to build the prototype with the extra armament in the wings. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Fw 190D-9, nicknamed the Dora, was the peak development version of the Fw 190 fighter with a liquid-cooled V12 and a lengthened nose and rear fuselage. It entered service in the fall of 1944 and is regarded as one of the best piston fighters of its day. The prototype version carried armament different from that of the production machines.
Separate the 3D printed and photo-etched parts carefully and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and join the plastic with a thin cement. Apply a primer before painting. An airbrush will handle the period German camouflage, bed the decals down on a gloss varnish and finish the surface with a fine patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
