Eduard HAS.2 Lynx masks 1:72 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the British naval helicopter Lynx HAS.2. It gives you sharp paint edges on the glazing and the wheels. This is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is meant for a plastic model of the British naval helicopter Lynx in the HAS.2 version. It is not a kit and not a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks cut from thin yellow masking tape. The masks help you create clean frames on the divided cockpit glazing and separate the landing gear tires from the rims while painting.
The Westland Lynx is a British twin-engine multipurpose helicopter. The HAS.2 version served with the Royal Navy against submarines and surface vessels, flying from the decks of warships. The Lynx was among the agile and fast helicopters in its class and its versions entered service in a number of countries. It carried anti-submarine and anti-ship weapons as well as search equipment.
Degrease the glazing before you apply the masks and let it dry. Lift the individual masks off the backing with tweezers and lay them on the canopy frames, press them into the edges and fill any gaps with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in two thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge of the mask. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains only the masks. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included unless stated otherwise.
