A resin set of replacement wheels for models of the Hawker Hunter FGA.9 in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the box with truer castings showing the detail of the rim and the tire. A quick and visible improvement to the landing gear.
The Hawker Hunter was a British jet fighter and fighter-bomber with a Rolls-Royce Avon engine. The FGA.9 variant was the ground attack version, which served with many air forces around the world and became famous for its elegant lines and its long life in service.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the wheels separately; separate the rim from the tire with a mask or a brush, and a fine patina of dust will bring out the detail.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The basic kit and paints are not included in the package.
