A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, in 1:72 scale. This is not an aircraft model but a set of main landing gear doors with which you replace the plastic parts of the Hurricane Mk.I and Mk.II versions. The fine castings have a realistic edge thickness and a faithful inner structure.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-seat fighter of the Second World War, powered by a liquid-cooled Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. It played a key role in the Battle of Britain. The main landing gear doors closed the bays in the leading section of the wing once the wheels were retracted.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully separate the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Pick out the inner faces of the doors with shading.
The accessory is supplied as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
