The decal set DP Casper Helicopter War Vietnam 1967-72 in 1:72 scale - markings for American helicopters of the Vietnam War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Czech publisher DP Casper, devoted to American helicopters used in the Vietnam War between 1967 and 1972. It is not a model or a kit: it is an accessory with markings that is applied to a model already built and painted. The set offers several color schemes for various machines of the period, among them the Bell AH-1G Cobra attack helicopter and the multipurpose Bell UH-1 Huey. Check the exact number of schemes and which machine each one belongs to against the instructions in the package.
The Vietnam War is often called the first conflict in which helicopters played a key role, from air assaults and casualty evacuation to direct fire support. The set recalls those color schemes and markings in model form.
Give the model a gloss coat first so that the decals do not go dull and no silvering bubbles appear. Cut the decal out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds, slide it into place and settle it with a decal softener; once dry, go over it with matte or semi-gloss varnish.
An accessory with markings; it is not a model. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
