Responsibility details are not available.
A highly regarded injection-molded plastic kit of the American M4A3E8 Sherman medium tank in its Korean War configuration. The model from Asuka (formerly the Tasca brand) holds a finely done running gear with HVSS suspension and wide tracks, extra photo-etched parts and decals for several vehicles. The package also offers a range of postwar hull fittings.
The M4A3E8, nicknamed the Easy Eight, was a late version of the Sherman with a turret carrying a 76 mm gun and with horizontal volute spring suspension (HVSS), which brought wider tracks and a smoother ride. The Korean War configuration shows postwar modifications such as the large rear exhaust deflector, the external telephone box and the canvas cover over the gun mantlet.
Assemble and paint the workable suspension and the running gear before you finish the hull. Build up the multi-part T80 type tracks carefully according to the instructions. Choose an airbrush for the olive drab finish, then add edge wear, washes in the recesses and dust effects on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
