A set of pre-punched self-adhesive masks from Peewit in 1:72 scale for models of the Spanish Hispano HA-1112 M-1L Buchón fighter. The masks follow the framing of the canopy exactly, so when spraying you get sharp and clean frames without laborious cutting.
The Hispano HA-1112 M-1L Buchón was the Spanish licensed version of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter, fitted with the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine. It was marked by the bulged nose of the engine. Among other things it became famous as a screen opponent in war films, where it stood in for the original Bf 109 machines.
Apply the masks to the clean, degreased glazing of the model and press the edges down thoroughly so that no paint creeps under them. Then spray the canopy frames in the color of the airframe and carefully remove the masks once the paint has dried. The pre-punched shape follows the framing of the cockpit, so the slow business of cutting tape with a knife falls away.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
