Responsibility details are not available.
A set of water-slide decals with the markings of the Soviet Ilyushin Il-4 long-range bomber in 1:72 scale. It concentrates on machines used in raids on targets deep inside Germany, including the period fuselage inscriptions and slogans these bombers carried.
The Ilyushin Il-4 was a twin-engined long-range bomber that formed the backbone of Soviet long-range aviation in the Second World War. It was these machines that carried out retaliatory raids on German territory in the very first months of the war and became a symbol of the Soviet bombing offensive.
The markings are applied as classic water-slide decals onto a smooth, ideally gloss finish. The item is dipped briefly in lukewarm water, and once it comes free of the paper it is transferred into place and settled. The fuselage inscriptions benefit from a softening and setting solution; the finished markings are sealed with a clear varnish.
This is a set of decals, not a model. The kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
