This is a small accessory for figures, not a kit and not a finished figure either. The set brings the Israeli helmet in 1:72 scale, which you set on an altered figure's head, use with a vehicle crew or as equipment set down in a diorama. The manufacturer makes the same subject in larger scales as well, so you can pick the one that matches your model.
The OR-201, carried as the M76 in the name of the item, is an Israeli composite helmet introduced in the middle of the 1970s and used by ground units for decades. The shell is rounded and has a pronounced edge; in period footage soldiers often wear it with netting and rubber bands. For a modeler it is one of the few items of equipment that gives away at once, even in a small scale, which army and which decades are meant, so the pairing of vehicle and crew has to fit the same period.
The part is very small in 1:72 scale, so work with it using tweezers over a tray. Wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent, separate it from the casting block with a new blade and level the mark only lightly. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue applied on a pin, so that it does not run over the surroundings. A thin primer, a base shade and very fine picking out of the edge with a drybrush will do for painting; apply a heavily thinned wash, so that the small shape does not stay dark.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a figure. Paints, glue and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
