A resin seat with belts for the J2M3 Raiden in 1:72 scale to sharpen up the pilot's station. Made for Hasegawa kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft model but a small detail set. It brings a resin pilot's seat with faithfully rendered seat belts for the Japanese Mitsubishi J2M3 Raiden fighter in 1:72 scale. The casting replaces the simpler part from the kit and lifts the look of an open cockpit considerably. The set is made for Hasegawa kits.
The Mitsubishi J2M Raiden (Allied code name Jack) was a Japanese interceptor of the Second World War, designed for a fast climb and for fighting bombers. It was marked out by a sturdy fuselage and a powerful radial engine; the J2M3 version carried its armament in the wings.
Wash the seat free of release agent and separate it from the casting block. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring out the belts with a canvas shade and gentle toning with a wash, and suggest the hardware with a metallic color. The set is made for the usual 1:72 kit of this fighter.
The set contains only the resin seat with belts. The aircraft kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
