About product

Firma49 jerry can 20 l 1:72 (resin accessory)

This is not a model or a kit but a resin accessory for a diorama in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. The set portrays the classic twenty-liter cans (jerrycans) with their characteristic three handles and pressed ribs, as they were used during the Second World War and after it to carry fuel and water. In the small 1:72 scale these are tiny but telling details that can be used anywhere.

What the accessory is for

The cans bring vehicle beds, trailers, supply points and infantry dioramas to life. They give a scene the convincing feel of field operations and logistics. The parts are 3D printed in resin with a faithful shape and ribs.

Usage tips

According to the manufacturer it is a good idea to dip the parts in hot water before the supports are separated and then to cut the stubs off; once cooled, the resin hardens again. Given the small scale, work carefully. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue and painted with ordinary modeling paints; washes and edge highlighting are effective.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of dioramas in 1:72 scale
  • Modelers completing vehicle beds and trailers
  • Those looking for versatile details in a small scale

This is a resin accessory for a diorama, not a kit. The paints and the glue are not included in the package.
