Eduard Ju 188 masks 1:72 is a pre-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the German Ju 188 bomber. It gives sharp paint transitions on the glazing and the wheels. It is not a model, but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This pre-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is intended for a plastic model of the German twin-engine Ju 188 bomber. It is not a kit and it is not a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks made of thin yellow masking tape. The masks help you cover the extensively glazed front end with its greenhouse cockpit and separate the landing gear tires from the rims during spraying.
The Junkers Ju 188 was a German twin-engine bomber of the Second World War that grew out of the development of the earlier Ju 88. Its recognition features were the roomy glazed nose section with its rounded shapes and the longer wings, which improved its handling. It was used for bombing and reconnaissance and served in several production versions.
Degrease the glazing before applying the masks and let it dry. Lift the individual masks off the backing with tweezers and lay them on the canopy frames, pressing them into the edges and filling any gaps with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in two thin coats, so that it cannot bleed under the edge of the mask. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint is dry, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
