An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Lavochkin La-5FN fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov, in the Aces release aimed at the markings of famous fighter aces. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted set of parts.
The La-5FN was a capable Soviet fighter of the Second World War with a radial engine and a mixed wood and metal structure. The FN version with its boosted engine was among the best Soviet fighters of its day and, in the hands of experienced pilots, scored a string of victories on the Eastern Front.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, sand the seams down and treat the surface with a primer. Finish the cockpit and the interior before closing the fuselage. Lay the Soviet camouflage on with an airbrush, apply the decals over gloss varnish and go over them with a matte coat. The Aces release offers attractive color schemes of particular pilots.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
