M4A3 (76) HVSS Sherman 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the famous Sherman version with a 76 mm gun and HVSS running gear from UM.

This kit represents the American M4A3 Sherman medium tank with a 76 mm gun and the HVSS chassis in 1:72 scale, nicknamed the Easy Eight. It is an injection-molded plastic model from UM, usually complemented by a small photo-etched fret and a decal sheet. Link-and-length track links and separate running gear parts tend to be part of the set.
The M4A3 (76) HVSS was among the most capable production Shermans at the end of the Second World War. It combined the Ford GAA gasoline engine, a 76 mm gun of higher muzzle velocity and the wider tracks of the HVSS suspension, which improved the handling. It was fielded in Western Europe and later in the Korean War as well.
Finish the running gear and the wider HVSS tracks first, and close the hull only afterwards. Glue the plastic with liquid cement, treat the surface with a primer and spray with an airbrush. You will bring the olive drab finish to life by lightening the edges and with washes in the recesses and dust pigments for the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
