A sheet of decal markings in 1:72 scale for the Lublin R-XIb aircraft. An accessory for a model, onto which the national and distinguishing markings are transferred.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lublin R-XIb is one of the aircraft of Polish interwar manufacture that were created in the Lublin aircraft factory. Machines of this make appear only rarely in the modeling range, so markings for them tend to be available separately rather than directly in a kit. This sheet fills such a gap for 1:72 scale.
The markings of the aircraft at the scale mentioned, that is, elements that are transferred onto a finished model only after it has been painted. The extent of the sheet, the number of machines covered and the color schemes to which the markings relate are given by the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer. They will also tell you which kit the sheet fits best.
Finish the model in paint and polish the area under the decal with gloss varnish; on a matte surface a light edge appears around the film. Cut the design out close to the printing, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and let it rest until it starts to slide on the backing. Once it has been transferred, draw the water off with a soft cloth and let it dry thoroughly, and only then unify the whole surface with a matte varnish. On fabric covering with pronounced ribs a softener will help. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version, because a soaked self-adhesive film is irretrievably ruined.
The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
