The resin wheel set Reskit 1:72 Martin B-57 Canberra, type 2 offers a second version of the wheels for the American license-built Canberra in place of the plastic parts from the kit.

This is an accessory to a plastic kit, not an aircraft model. It consists of resin castings of the landing gear wheels in the second version, which the manufacturer offers alongside the basic variant. The division into types comes from the fact that long-serving aircraft had their tires changed for ones with a different tread pattern, and their hubs too, so the modeler can pick the version matching a particular aircraft in a photograph.
The Martin B-57 was an American jet bomber built under license from the British Canberra. It differed from the British original mainly in the cockpit arrangement and the bomb bay layout, and in United States service it flew in bomber, reconnaissance and high-altitude versions. Those very differences from the British machine are the reason accessories for the B-57 are listed separately.
Wash the resin castings in lukewarm water with dish soap so that the remains of the mold release agent disappear. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw, sand the surface down and use respiratory protection while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue only. Apply a primer before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on the smooth surface. Do not spray the tires pure black; a dark gray shade with a faint dusty cast looks truer in scale.
The set is an accessory to a plastic kit. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
