Responsibility details are not available.
Accessory goods for the cockpits of models that carry an ejection seat of the Mk.10 type. It solves a single but conspicuous shortcoming of plastic seats in a small scale: a missing or merely suggested harness.
The British brand Martin-Baker is among the most widespread suppliers of escape seats in the world and the Mk.10 family represents the generation of the 1970s and 1980s, with which leaving a machine is possible even at zero altitude and zero speed. Seats of this family appeared on training as well as combat types of Western production, among them the BAe Hawk and the Panavia Tornado. For a modeler that means a pleasant thing: one set of straps has use on more than one project.
Finish the paint of the seat and of the surrounding tub first, because afterwards you will no longer get into the space with a brush so easily. Place the harness so that the ends of the straps point outwards over the sides of the pan, as that matches a harness left laid aside on a parked machine. If you are building a cockpit with a pilot figure, lead the belts over the shoulders and the lap instead. Finally tie everything together with a matte clear coat.
