1:72 Mask CH-53D BASIC (ACAD 12575)

New Ware 1:72 CH-53D BASIC, painting masks

An entry-level BASIC set of self-adhesive painting masks in 1:72 scale from New Ware. Kabuki film masks make it easy to paint the glazing and selected areas of a Sikorsky CH-53D heavy transport helicopter model cleanly. The BASIC version covers the main glazing, the position lights and surfaces, a practical foundation for quick and clean masking. It is not a kit.

The real subject

The Sikorsky CH-53D Sea Stallion is an American heavy transport helicopter that served mainly with the Marine Corps carrying troops and cargo. It is marked out by its large fuselage and extensive cabin glazing.

Use

• Lay the masks exactly onto the clear parts and selected areas as shown in the diagram.
• Press the edges down so that paint cannot creep underneath.
• Paint with an airbrush and peel the masks off once dry.
• The film does not damage the surface and gives a sharp color transition.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want clean glazing on their CH-53D without laborious hand masking and who are content with the basic scope.

This is an accessory to a model. The kit itself and paints are not included.
