1:72 Mask Harrier GR.1/GR.3/AV-8A EXPERT (New Ware)

This is a masking set, not a model. The EXPERT version is the most complete of the New Ware line. It contains pre-cut (die-cut) self-adhesive masks in kabuki tape for the cockpit canopy including the seals, the inner and outer faces of the glazing, the other clear parts, the landing light, the wheels and normally masks for the camouflage demarcation as well, on Harrier GR.1, GR.3 and AV-8A models in 1:72 scale. The set is intended for the Airfix kit.

The real subject

The Hawker Siddeley Harrier was a British combat aircraft with vertical takeoff and landing, one of the first of its kind in operational service. The GR.1 and GR.3 versions served with the Royal Air Force, and the export AV-8A with the US Marine Corps. It was a striking single-seat machine with rotating engine nozzles.

• Apply the glazing masks to a clean canopy before spraying the frames.
