An add-on set of photo-etched parts from Eduard, tied to the two-seat version of the F-15D fighter in 1:72 scale. The code places the item among the Zoom sets, which is the narrower variant alongside the full photo-etched set that the manufacturer issues for this type separately. The kit is not part of the delivery.
The D version was created by reworking the single-seat C into an aircraft with two seats in tandem. The cockpit was lengthened by this, the canopy grew longer and the layout of the space behind the pilot changed. The outer shape of the airframe, the twin vertical tail surfaces and the massive air intakes stayed the same, so the aircraft is told from the single-seat version at first glance precisely by the longer glazing. The type served as a trainer, but it kept full combat capability.
Cut the metal tabs on a hard surface with a sharp blade, not with nippers. Lay the small parts out on a light surface so they do not get lost. Degrease the metal before gluing, otherwise the paint holds on it poorly. Apply the primer as a thin mist; a heavy coat would flood the fine engraving.
