A resin detail set from Quickboost with an exhaust for a model of the Mil Mi-2 light helicopter in 1:72 scale. The casting has an open outlet and a fine texture that injection-molded plastic cannot reach. It is an accessory for a kit, not a helicopter model in itself.
The Mil Mi-2 (NATO reporting name Hoplite) is a light multi-purpose helicopter powered by a pair of turboshaft engines mounted above the cabin. The exhausts carry the gases away from the engines and are clearly visible on the upper fuselage.
Wash the part to remove the release agent, cut off the casting block and bond it with super glue. Pick out the exhaust outlet with a dark metallic shade and a hint of burnt edges.
The kit itself and glue are not included in the package.
