This is a resin set meant for the plastic kit of the Mi-2 light helicopter. The package replaces the wheels of the model with faithfully cast resin parts with a recessed tire tread and finely divided hubs. Masking film is included, which makes clean painting of the tire separately from the hub easier without laborious cutting of masks.
The Mi-2, under the reporting name Hoplite, is a light multipurpose helicopter with a pair of turboshaft engines. It grew out of a Mil design and was built in large numbers in Poland. It served in civil as well as military roles, from training and transport to rescue work.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue first and cut off the casting blocks. Glue the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Paint the wheels using the enclosed masking film, which separates the tire from the hub.
