This is a resin detail accessory, not a model of a helicopter. The set captures the power unit of the Mil Mi-24 attack helicopter in 1:72 scale and is meant for opening up the engine section on a model. Faithful castings make it possible to build the helicopter with the engine covers open and show the machinery that is otherwise hidden.
The Mil Mi-24, Hind in the NATO code, is a heavy attack and transport helicopter of Soviet design. It combines an armored cockpit, strong armament and the ability to carry troops. It was powered by a pair of turboshaft engines mounted above the fuselage.
Wash the parts free of mold release, cut off the casting blocks and dry fit them. Resin is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a primer as the ground, metallic shades on the engine and a wash to bring out the piping and the details; oil and dust effects will add matching weathering.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
