This detail set replaces the coarse plastic parts of a kit of the Mi-24 attack helicopter in the Hind D/E form with accurate turned metal and resin components. The assembly combines a turned metal bore with cast resin elements, so that the result looks faithful and fine.
It includes the barrel of the four-barrel YakB rotary machine gun of 12.7 mm caliber housed in the nose turret and the DUAS air data probe with its fine vanes on the nose of the fuselage. The metal barrel has a perfectly circular bore, which cannot be molded in plastic parts. Fitting is simple: you cut off the original plastic items, drill a hole and glue the metal parts in with cyanoacrylate.
