This resin detail set contains a faithfully rendered exhaust nozzle of the MiG-15bis fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an accessory for a kit that replaces the simplified plastic nozzle with fine structure and the inner space of the rear section of the engine. It is not a standalone aircraft model.
The MiG-15 is a Soviet single-engine jet fighter of the early 1950s with a swept wing. The bis version was an improved rendering with a more powerful engine. The exhaust nozzle is a prominent feature of the rear fuselage that basic kits usually render in a simplified way.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate. The nozzle comes out well once painted in metallic shades with the heat-stressed areas brought out.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for a kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
