This is a small resin detail set from the Quickboost brand. It does not contain a whole model but a set of precisely cast replacement parts that refine the installation of the radio altimeter sensors on the underside of the fuselage on MiG-21 models in the late configuration. The parts are cast in one block and meant to be cut off the casting block.
The antennas and sensors of the radio altimeter tend to be simplified or thick in injected plastic. A resin replacement offers thinner and more faithful shapes that, once fitted, raise the realism of the underside of the fuselage. The set is conceived as a universal accessory for MiG-21 models in the matching scale.
First wash the parts free of any mold release agent residue, cut them carefully off the casting block and test the fit dry. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding with respiratory protection. Before filling and painting, check the position against the documentation for the base model.
This is an aftermarket accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
