This set of quality waterslide decals in 1:48 scale brings colorful markings of Douglas A-4 Skyhawk aircraft in civil service. The sheets cover the A-4L as well as the A-4K/TA-4K versions and are completed by technical stencils. It is an accessory for a plastic kit, not the model itself.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is a light carrier-based attack aircraft of the 1950s which, thanks to its agility, served for decades with a number of air forces. Here the aircraft are machines operated by a private provider of adversary (Red Air) training, simulating enemy aircraft for air combat practice. They are distinguished by prominent civil registrations and eye-catching color details.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat so that silvered edges do not appear. A decal softener and a decal fixer will help, and once dry, seal the area with a clear coat in the sheen you want. Plan the position of the markings from the enclosed instructions before you start.
This is a separate decal set. The kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
