A color, three-dimensionally 3D printed interior laid on decal paper from Quinta Studio in 1:72 scale. The set is intended for the early variant of the single-seat MiG-21bis and brings a finely made instrument panel and side consoles for the cockpit. It is not an aircraft model but interior equipment for a kit, which the name gives as the one from Eduard.

The real subject

The MiG-21bis was the highest performing single-seat version of the Soviet supersonic fighter MiG-21. The early production batches differed from the later ones in details of the cockpit equipment and the instruments, and that is reflected in the execution of this interior. The type served in dozens of countries and became one of the most widely built fighters of its era.

Application and use

• the elements are cut out and transferred to the cockpit surfaces as waterslide decals; without a softener, which would attack the printed resin
• the pre-printed colors and instruments do away with painting the panels
