A small but effective accessory of metal and photo-etched sheet for the exterior surface of a model. It is precisely the small things on the surface of an airframe that decide whether a model looks faithful: thin covers, mesh and protrusions have the thickness of paper in reality, which plastic in 1:72 scale will never reach. The set is an accessory; the aircraft is not in the package.
The MiG-25 is a Soviet twin-engine aircraft intended for high speeds and altitudes. It was used in the interceptor and the reconnaissance version, and its airframe is to this day one of the largest combat aircraft of its category. On the surface of the airframe there is a quantity of small covers, sensors and vents, which differ between the individual versions.
Most of these parts belong at the very end of the build, after clear coating and weathering, so that they are not damaged during sanding. Work with fine-jawed tweezers and superglue applied in a minimal amount, ideally carried over with the tip of a wire. For parts that are to stay in a metal shade, degreasing and only matting or darkening is enough; a primer is usually not necessary on them. Do not move a part once it is stuck down; superglue would leave the edges dull.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
