This item belongs among clear accessories, not among decals. These are vacuum-formed cockpit canopies of clear film, intended as a replacement for the injection-molded part of a plastic kit of the twin-engined MiG-29 fighter in 1:72 scale. According to the name there are two pieces in the package.
A molded clear part is always noticeably thicker than real glazing in scale and often has a yellowish cast or residual marks from the mold. A vacuum-formed canopy is markedly thinner and cleaner, so the cockpit looks more realistic and you can see into it better - which is especially welcome when you have put work into the interior. The two pieces in the package have a practical reason: they allow a build with an open canopy, where one part is cut into a fixed and a sliding section, and at the same time they give a spare in case the first attempt at cutting does not work out.
First trace the outline with a fine spirit marker so that you can see where to cut. Do not cut it out with scissors - the usual approach is to run a sharp scalpel around the outline several times and break the part out, and the inside can be filled with a water-thinnable filler for stiffness. Level the edges by laying abrasive paper on a flat board and moving the canopy over it in circles. It is bonded with a PVA glue for clear parts that dries clear, or with a very small amount of thick super glue away from the visible surface; ordinary plastic cement hazes clear material. Mask with strips of masking tape or with liquid mask and apply only a light veil of clear coat.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
