1:72 MiG-29A in Polish service vol.2

Decals MiG-29A in Polish service, part 2, 1:72, Model Maker

The second part of a decal set from the Polish brand Model Maker for a MiG-29A model in 1:72 scale. The part number is a distinguishing figure, not a repetition; the individual parts are sold separately.

What it is and what it is not

This package is not a kit and holds no plastic part. It is a sheet of decals, that is, thin printed films on a backing paper, which are transferred onto an already painted model after soaking. To use the set you need a MiG-29 kit in 1:72 scale from any manufacturer, paints, and gloss and matte clear varnish. A separate sheet pays off in two situations: either you want markings other than the box offers, or the decal in the box is unusable.

The basic method

• Finish the model, spray it with paints and let the coat dry.
• Overcoat with gloss clear varnish and let it cure.
• Cut the decals out closely, soak them in lukewarm water and transfer them onto the model.
• Blot the water off and let them dry thoroughly.
• Seal with a matte or satin varnish, and add weathering if you wish.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the MiG-29 in 1:72 scale in the Polish version.
• Builders who collect the parts of a decal series one by one.
• Anyone looking for a replacement for damaged decals from a kit.

The package holds decals. The kit, the paints and the varnish are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
